Position: SENIOR WEB ARCHITECT
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Status: Permanent / Full Time
Compensation: $80K - $100K, annual salary

EDUCATIONAL & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* 5 years of experience in application design and development with 3+years 
user interface design and 2+years web interface design.
* Must be well versed in web technologies including Java, J2EE (EJB, JSP, 
Servlets), XML/XSL, DHTML, HTML and JavaScript. Visual Basic experience 
required.
* Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle in an 
Internet development environment is required.
* Broad understanding of web, internet, database, graphics and software 
development required.
* Must have a solid understanding of application servers and have a good 
working knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, 
and Sybase.
* A solid understanding of modeling tools and Project Management experience 
a must.<
* Knowledge of software and hardware architecture and experience developing 
architecture from client requirements is a must.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position is a web-unique role combining information design, user 
interface design, business analysis and E-commerce solutions. This requires 
an individual with industry experience in each of these disciplines and the 
ability to synthesize them into highly useable web interfaces that 
successfully meet defined business requirements and goals. The ability to 
lead communications with clients to identify business goals and apply them 
to the web is key. Just as in important is the ability to provide design 
leadership in communicating the resulting architecture to the development 
team and the client.

The right person for this position will be highly organized, self-motivated 
and demonstrate excellent written and oral communication abilities. The Web 
Architect leads the software development team and is responsible for the 
Development of business and technical requirements. Defining hardware and 
software architecture for project, including: Off the shelf software 
components, Custom software specifications, Database schema; Network 
infrastructure, Hardware platforms and environment and Software interface 
requirements. Will develop and track client project budgets, assign 
personnel, and manage the software development lifecycle. Interface with 
senior production and marketing management on the project and provide 
professional development of junior personnel. Will be team play and 
contribute to overall corporate goals.
