Web Designer
New York based company is currently seeking a focused, self-motivated Web
Designer with at least 2 years of web-design
experience to join its News Division. You will be responsible for designing
special news features as well as updating the look
and feel of the main site. The perfect candidate should demonstrate
excellent design skills combined with the fluent understanding of the modern
web technologies: knowledge of Photoshop and HTML is a must; knowledge of
either JavaScript, DHTML, or Flash is a plus. The candidate must also feel
comfortable working with a motley crew of producers, editors and the fellow
designers: "THE TEAM".

This is a long-term freelance position. Full-time employment can be
considered as well. Company offers a competitive rate/salary
combined with excellent benefits (in case of full-time employment). Please

HTML Freelance Work
Need an HTML guru for 3 - 4 weeks of project work on-site or off. Will be
coding pages based on our designer's layouts. Requires: HTML 4.0, style
sheets, JavaScript, DHTML, cross-browser compatibility checking, clean code,
good page and directory layout and structure, knowledge of include files,
etc. PhotoShop and Flash a plus.

Senior HTML Programmer
Sr. Level HTML Programmer to help create brand new web sites freelance. This
is a two month project that may become a fulltime position.
Responsibilities: Update existing web content in day-to-day production Build
pages from the ground up by translating original
designs created by Creative Director Produce accurate and lightweight HTML
pages Produce HTML pages that are consistent
with in-house style sheet specifications Test pages on several browser &
platform combinations

Qualifications: At least 2 years of direct technical and/or design
experience (HTML, JavaScript, Photoshop, etc.) Must have
prior experience in working with a team of coders and/or designers Required
knowledge of style sheets Strong knowledge of
browser dependencies & limitations Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator,
JavaScript, Flash is a plus Working knowledge of Mac
and Windows required Ability to hand-code HTML pages (no WYSISYG programs )

Must be detail-oriented and efficient Excellent written, verbal and client
communication Expert knowledge of HTML and image compression software Speed 
& accuracy in day to day production
