3PARdata is looking for a person who will lead the entire documentation
development effort, including coordinating and leading the production of
customer manuals and documents and managing technical writing. Develop the
"infrastructure" for documentation, including choosing our external support
shop, working with Engineering on content and working with consultant
writers and customers. You will interact regularly with the CTO, The
Director of Hardware Engineering, Director of Software Engineering and
Marketing.

Initially, you will be charted with preparing the first Scaffold
documentation series. Long term, you will be responsible for building a
documentation group and developing and implementing supportive structures
and standards for 3PAR documents.

You could also become involved with Customer service and Field training.
Accurately describing complex hardware and software systems in writing and
keeping abreast of ever-changing technologies will be the most technically
challenging aspects of this job.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Office
* Proficiency in Framemaker

* Lead / Management Background
* Training / Customer Service Background
* Large software company experience (Oracle, Microsoft, etc.)
* A track record of good communications with Engineering organizations
* Self driven
* Ability to guide/teach others
* Technical background
* Bachelors degree or equivalent
