Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
In support of the NIH World Wide Web site, the incumbent conceptualizes,
develops, maintains, and enhances the site. This includes gathering,
analyzing, writing, editing, and uploading materials to be posted on the
server. The incumbent proposes new categories of information to be provided
and works with appropriate NIH staff to develop suitable information for
these categories. The incumbent works with other NIH staff on the most
effective methods for presenting their material on the NIH Web site and
recommends new techniques and technologies that could be incorporated on the
site. The incumbent understands, promotes, and utilizes a user-driven and
accessible approach to Web site development and refinement.
