SENIOR HTML DEVELOPER

Web developers build sites using HTML; client-side javascript and CSS;
StoryServer commands and Tcl; and server-side javascript. They are part of
project teams that include Strategic Planners, Project Managers,
Application and Database Architects, Software Engineers, User Interface
Engineers, and Graphic Designers. Web developers also generate production
graphics while building sites.
Required skills include:
- Excellent HTML -- without using HTML generators
- Forms and CGI
- Ability to use and modify Javascript, Dynamic HTML
- Style Sheets
- A working knowledge of browser variation issues
- A working knowledge of early browser limitations and workarounds
- Adobe Photoshop
Desired skills include:
- Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia FreeHand
- Flash/ShockWave
- Familiarity with Perl, CGI, and UNIX environments
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience with database-driven sites using Tcl and/or server-side
Javascript
- Experience building dynamic and/or eCommerce web-based solutions
- Knowledge of server performance issues
- XML, XSL, ICE experience and knowledge
The ideal candidate will be very fast, very organized, detail-oriented,
able to work independently under exacting conditions and deadlines, and
will be intelligent and thoughtful about their work. Qualified individuals
will have high standards, and will be committed to doing things right, even
if it means going the extra mile.
