Lead Interface Developer

Lead Site Developer is responsible for day-to-day implementation of the
Scudder Weisel Capital web team site development strategy, the management of
the production schedule, and providing Web technology leadership within
Scudder Weisel Capital.  This includes developing, articulating and/or
executing user experience front-end technologies, technology benchmarks,
technical and functional specifications, HTML and JavaScript code, and
interactive prototypes.

Qualificarions:
  2-4 years hands-on experience in Web site development.
Detail-oriented with proven ability to adhere to design specifications and
site standards.
Solid understanding of information architecture, user interface design and
visual design.
Experience working within a team environment, particularly with visual
designers, and testing code to support QA efforts.
Strong understanding of web design/business strategy.

Expertise in HTML, CSS, DHTML, and JavaScript.
Highly skilled in several of the following domains: Image manipulation
(PhotoShop), vector-based illustration (Illustrator), image optimization
(e.g., ImageReady, Debabelizer), multimedia creation (Director, Flash), HTML
page or site production tools (HomeSite, BBEdit, DreamWeaver;
Strong understanding of Web graphics techniques, knowledge of graphics and
screen layout constraints, including palettes, file conversion/graphic
preparation, and cross-platform/cross-browser design issues; strong
knowledge of performance issues (producing pages within established download
times and minimal file sizes) and content management systems.
  Familiarity with Vignette StoryServer a plus.
Experience in financial or professional services preferred but not required.
