Interactive Content Writer Opportunity at Acterna in Germantown, MD.

In this important position, you will be a core member of Acterna's Internet 
Programs team responsible for creating and editing some of the content for 
acterna.com, the company's Internet site. Your interactive writing/editing 
experience, eye for consistency and style and understanding of information 
architecture and taxonomy will be essential as we move forward with plans 
to enhance and build out our web site. Major initiatives include assisting 
with planning the site's architecture, working with external agency 
consultants and
internal content providers to ensure that content is web-ready and 
consistent with our overall content style and strategy. You will also work 
closely with both technical and creative team members to coordinate content 
projects through to publishing.

This position requires:
-Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts (preferably English, Journalism, 
Communications or Marketing) or demonstrated equivalent experience
-Minimum of 3 years experience developing compelling marketing content, 
including taxonomy development and project coordination. A minimum of 1 
year writing for an Interactive and/or web environment
-Working knowledge of basic Internet technology such as content management 
systems, basic authoring programs and database-driven environment
-Strong understanding of creative and technical disciplines involved in the 
web site development process
