SQL Server DBA =AD 60-65k =AD New York City

The SQL DBA must ensure the safety and integrity of the data servers. They

potential=85 this includes making sure all code, tables, and indexes are
properly built, as well as uphold the standards we set for development and
administration.

Job Duties:
The position is for a DBA who would concentrate on the Administration and
Maintenance of the machines. However, the DBA must be knowledgeable enough=

in TSQL to assist with Data development

Administration/Maintenance focus:

Job Specifications:
=B7 DBAs must be self-starters. Their responsibilities are huge, and must=
 see
them that way. If something needs to be done, they must take ownership
=B7 They should also be able to communicate well with other technical=
 persons.
A DBA will need to communicate with system operations, developers, business
owners and each other. Open opinions and discussions are essential for the
Data team to be successful
=B7 Obviously SQL knowledge is essential, but also is the ability to=
 recognize
when they do not know something, and then to go out and find the right
answer through research or discussion with others who are experienced. I
don=92t expect the DBA to know every single thing about databases, but I do
expect them to be willing to go out and find out what they need to know.
=B7 Organization is necessary especially for the admin side as there are=
 many
things going on within a database=85 everything must be in order and easily
referenced.
