Information Developer:

Braun is looking for an Information Developer to assist in the development
of content and content strategies for client engagements; developing
processes and tools to help clients create, maintain and update their
content; and collaborate with project teams to design and build integrated,
user-centered offerings. Expert knowledge of HTML a must. Experience with
information architecture or visual design a plus.



Responsibilities include:

o         Conduct content inventory to determine what content is available,
what needs editing and what needs to be developed from scratch

o         Collaborate on site content strategy and develop resource plan
for acquiring and developing content

o         Collaborate on the organization and information structure of
websites and systems

o         Research, gather, evaluate and source web content based on the
site strategy and architecture

o         Authoring information as part of a larger creative effort to
create or redesign a website

o         Extract, edit and re-purpose existing content

o         Working with Subject Matter Experts to develop detailed content.

o         Coordinate the loading and maintenance of site content

o         Evaluate and recommend content management software solutions

o         Participate in design sessions and contribute to UI design

o         Collaborate with visual designers to create online content that
communicates a message clearly and succinctly with a high degree of
usability

o         HTML authoring



Requirements:

o         2+ years of experience

o         Strong critical thinking

o         Creative concepting

o         Strategic problem-solving skills

o         Client relations and employee mentoring

o         Experience creating user-centered content strategies for various
media, including internet

o         Demonstrated competence in writing and editing, especially for web

o         HTML

o         Strong verbal communication skills

o         Library science or instructional design background a plus
