Description:

WebEvent is seeking an experienced web designer who excels at content
development and also has experience with administering a site. The web
site is the heart of WebEvent's business as it is used to attract and
inform customers, provide software demonstrations and evaluations, execute
transactions and support customers.  The Webmaster will start out as a
contract position, possibly leading to direct employment in the future.

Responsibilities:
-Develops and maintains the company's web-site.
-Provides overall content management.
-Tests web content changes.
-Manages links and cross promotions with other sites, ensuring that links
  are up to date.
-Monitors site traffic for both technical (bandwidth) and marketing
  (referrals) needs.
-Assesses new standards, technologies and trends, and formulates
  strategies and plans for enhancing the site.

Requirements:
-3 to 5 years of experience.
-Excellent writing and communication skills.
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail (you should be
  able to create a well structured and neat document hierarchy).
-Experience in web site design (including graphics) and page layout
  management.
-Experience with CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, Server Side Includes, and Flash.
-Desired experience with: UNIX (Linux), Perl, and MySQL.
