CONTRACT: Part-Time Webmaster - Brunswick, Maine

The Maine Green Power Connection, a Brunswick-based program of the
non-profit Maine Energy Investment Corporation, needs a part-time
webmaster to help us maintain our web site in support of our mission to
build a market for green electricity in Maine.

Our ideal candidate would be available to meet regularly with us in
person here in Brunswick, Maine.

Deadline
Applications will be accepted through September 10, 2003.

Job Description
* Help maintain our web site.
* Convert documents to HTML.
* Upload and manage files on our web site.
* Manage the delivery of our email newsletter.

Please note: our webmaster will join a team that includes a graphic
designer and a web developer.  We are seeking someone who is interested
in the mission of our organization and who can help us do the "grunt
work" of maintaining our web site.

Terms and Benefits
* Independent contractor position
* Work from home; flexible hours
* 5-15 hours per week (varies depending on publication schedule)
* $10 - 15 per hour, depending on experience

Hiring Criteria
* Physical location (strongly prefer candidates in the Mid-coast Maine
area)
* References
* HTML fluency
* Copy editing experience (preferably for online publications)
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Computer equipment and Internet connection
