The company I work for is curious about the benefits of using XML on an
extranet that will interact with a standard database. I haven't done much
with XML, so I'm wondering what it's strengths and weaknesses might be,
especially for database work. The possibility of using FrontPage to do this
has been mentioned. I've gone to a lot of work to replace FrontPage with
professional software, so I'm also asking about better XML tools for
Windows-based machines. TIA.
