Cross-browser "hover" using DOMby "Rudy Gomez" <rudy(at)cyberangler.com> |
|
As many of you know, the "hover" class available in MSIE is not recognized by Netscape. I am in the process of redoing a site that has extensive mouseover effects using images. I would like to reduce total load times by changing these images to text, but only if I can maintain some type of mouseover effect. Has anyone seen a utilization of the DOM to produce a cross-browser "hover" effect on link text? Any other suggestions (no java please)? TIA...
