As I understand it, the background property needs to be:

<style>
<!--body {background url(http://www.home.earthlink.net/~gadale/482059.jpg);
background-repeat:no-repeat; background-position:fixed;} -->
</STYLE>

I tested this and it seems to wrok in both browsers...apparently Netscape
does not support the background property alone...and requires that you put
in each element separately...don't you love the bugs...
