The JScript documentation from MS is for the JScript language and not for
its implementation in IE. Therefore it is only proper that it does not cover
history, window et al, which are predefined objects provided by IE for
programmatic manipulation of itself.

I suggest looking at the newsgroups hosted by MS on IE specific topics.
There is a lot of variety and multiple levels of granularity. More
information can be found on the MS website.
