Perl.  *Very* customizable.  Embeds seamlessly into your site.  Even better,
it's Freeware and the only intrusion to your site is a very small line at
the bottom of the output that says SFE Search, blahblah.

He's also got a couple of other freebie scripts, including a text counter.
