Perl Script

Hi:

I have a perl script wherein I ask it to print a phone number from a field
in an array.  The number in the field in the array is  1234567890 and it
prints it as such on the screen.  However, I would like to print it as
(123)456-7890 or 123-456-7890.  Any assistance would be appreciated.
