Browser and Resolution scripts

Hello fellow Javascript hackers,

I know this has been asked more times than can be counted, but can someone 
direct me to a script that will detect browser versions, (including Web TV), 
as well as screen resolutions?  If there is one script that would do both, 
that would be terrific.  I appreciate it, and sorry for posting a question 
that has been answered way too many times. BTW, I'm on the digest version of 
the list, so a personal response would be appreciated.  Thanks
