Creating AutoNumber from SQL in ASP

I'm using MS Access 2000 databases in ASP. I can create a table with an 
autonumber field with MS Access, and use it from ASP with SQL, but I can't 
seem to create a table from ASP with an AutoNumber field. The closest I've 
been able to find is the  int IDENTITY(1,1)  field data type, but the syntax 
doesn't work. does anyone have any ideas? - Cyanide_7
