Dear Languages,

I have a form that uses onMouseUp to open a new window when they click
the Submit button.
I got a call today from a user who browses with OmniWeb 4.01 on Mac OS
X 10.0.4. When he clicks the Submit button, the new window doesn't
open, although everything else happens.

1)	Is anyone else aware of OmniWeb not supporting onmouseup? I don't
have ready access to an OS X machine...
2)	In researching this, I noticed that onmouseup is a JavaScript 1.2
addition. Am I just foolish for using this handler when user's browsers
might not support all of JavaScript 1.2? (or did I just answer my own
question?)

3)	Perhaps most importantly, If I need to delay the creation of the new
window until AFTER the user lets go of the mouse button (mouse up),
because the form has to submit its info to the cgi, then I may not be
able to use onClick. Do you know of any hacks, workarounds, or other
solutions to this possible problem?

Thanks,
complex
