Preloading files for TDC

The Tabular Data Control avaiable in MSIE allows for inclusion and
manipulation of (simple) data files associated with a page. The data is
likely to be in simple, textual comma-delimited files.

Just as it is possible to preload image files needed later on a page(s) by
various methods, does anyone know a way to script a page to pre-load text
data file(s) that may be called later by a scripted  TDC (ie user may make
a selection as to which data set to use after the page has loaded - it may
be nice to have the data  streaming quietly down while they are considering
their options).
