I added a Flash Detect script that worked in about 12 browsers at work to
my JavaScript site at
http://www.xs4all.nl/~ppk/js
Today I tried it at home and found an error in Explorer 5.5 (grr...). The
Explorer 5.5 error is VBScript. It says that Active-X cannot create an
object (error is in Dutch, unfortunately). I think it has to do with this
line:
If IsObject(CreateObject("ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.3")) Then
Does anyone know what the problem is? We found out that Explorer 3 can't
handle this line of code (Too Bad), but Explorer 4 and 5 on Windows can. So
why not 5.5?
Thanks for any info,
ppk
