Hi,

I am using document.onmousemove to create a map for balloon help on a page.
In IE5 (Windows) event.x returns the position of the curser relative to the
window, not the document so I subtract off document.body.scrollLeft. Is
this correction also necessary in IE4.x (I don't have machine with IE4.x on
it)

Also, would event.clientX be more appropriate than event.x?

Thanks

Jim
