a href="#" when using base href.by jonjab(at)whatsgrowing.com |
|
here's a problem. i'm using a javascript type back button: <a href="#" onClick="history.go(-1)> to simplify coding on a large site where pages might be linked to from a variety of pages. i also use a base href to make coding simpler for the people maintaining the site, which is a directory inside of a larger site. the kicker is that netscape hi-jacks the link and takes the user back to the homepage (the "#" is interpreted as the base href instead of the current page. anything I can do about this?
