Good Morning All,

I have recently set up a server and am having a problem understanding
something.

How do I allow multiple ftp accounts to upload files to a single www
directory, when suexec will onlt allow the owner of the folder to run CGIs
and SSI in that folder. FOr example:

/var/www/htdocs/clienta has drwxr-xr-x permissions set.
The 'owner' username and group are set to clienta and client a respectivly.

I try to add an ftp account 'subuser', by suexec will not allow anything
uploaded by 'subuser' to execute (because it will give a directory /
ownership missmatch in the suexec-log.

I know there must be a work around for this, I just can't find it!

Here is the details:

FreeBSD 4.4 release.
Apache 1.3.20
fp-suiexec-apache_1.3.19 patch (to allow frontpage to run with suexec)
ProFTPD
MySQL
mod_php.

The server root is /var/www
and the document root is /var/www/htdocs/'clientfolder'

Any help would be appreciated.
