Hi David,

It sounds like a problem I once had with my hosting server. For security,
the server carried out a reverse nslookup when I tried to FTP to the site
and because my ISP had something set up incorrectly, the server refused the
connection because the forward and reverse nslookups were not the same.

It sounds like your problem, especially if it has only happened since
switching to the new ISP.
