I don't really know a whole lotta about DNS either, and
we're prolly going to get a Cobalt ourselves.  But I have
seen their Knowledge Base and it struck me as being fairly
comprehensive.  So try the support area at their website,
http://www.cobalt.com  - you may need to sign yourself up, which is easy.

And/or you may need to pick up O'Reilly's "DNS and Bind"
at a local bookstore if nobody can step up to the plate here.
