I only have volume 1 of a 2-volume set of backup tapes written
by the ol' Windows backup/restore utility. (2nd vol is missing cuz
an operator assumed that if the tape was automatically ejected, it
meant that the backup ran to completion. So volume 1 was removed,
there is no volume 2. BTW, the system is monitor-less.)
I can't list the tape's contents - much less restore - without the
2nd volume, yet I'm confident that what I want to restore is on the
1st volume.
Anybody know of a way to pull this off?
