>question is: can I run an SMTP mail server locally (on my PC at >home) that I can send mail to that will then forward it out to >wherever it's supposed to go without going through my ISP's mail >server? Sounds like the freeware "blat" (yes, that's its name). http://www.interlog.com/~tcharron/blat.html A customer of ours put up OpenSite Auction software by Siebel Technologies which in turn suggests using "blat". So there seems to be at least some credibility with "blat". -John
