Hello List!
Well, here I am, up to my neck in "I don't know's!" I'm running a
stand-alone box, Pentium II, 266 MHz, 64 MB RAM. Windows 95 v4.00.950 B,
and Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5.
Here's what I have done:
1) Installed Microsoft Personal Web Server from FrontPage 1.0 CD;
2) Installed ActiveState ActivePerl (Perl5.6.0)
3) Tried to install PHPTriad, but when I try to start Apache, I get a
missing .dll file message, and when I try to start mySQL, I get a "not
connected to the network" message.
I want to be able to test my perl and cgi scripts on my stand-alone box,
and also to write and test the PHP/mySQL combination. Is there anyone on
the list that would be willing to take me by the hand and help me get this
running? We could do it off-list or perhaps on the tele?
TIA,
Mike
