I wanted to thank all who helped with the cold fusion question, and provide an update for the archives. I attempted all the solutions suggested, trying multiple domain names, and multiple ports, anything that might be used by that server type, or Allaire, or Cold Fusion, or whatever :).
Finally got the contact information for the elusive Corporate HQ guys, in another country :). Also managed to speak to the Tech people at the remote host. Turns out my client, the regional division of a large multinational, has all their data integrated into an Access database with all the main corporate HQ stuff. So all the cold fusion structure is controlled by one Administration screen, which the tech at the web host won't let me access without permission from the corporate HQ.
So I am now waiting for this permission to be granted :). (Judging by how long it took for the last step, this could take forever).
Thanks again for the help.
Cheers
Kevin Jackson
