One of our clients has requested a cam site for regular sales meetings. The idea is to have a presenter on the video, a single audio channel for the presentation, and a keyboard area for posting questions, etc. (the talkback on text gives everyone the chance to see a question while allowing the presenter to control the session - i.e. no gabbles).
I have seen programs like CuSeeMe and Net Meeting, .. but I am unsure as to the best approach from a server standpoint. Any opinions? I know there are Java chat applications out there, .. but most seem oriented towards keyboard only (i.e. they require a floating window and I do not think they would integrate well with video and audio).
There would be 10-50 users on the receiving end, and server/network load is also a concern. Some will be on the IntraNet, but some will be dialing in.
