As someone pointed out privately - "Define typical and average!"

True - I know as well as any that there is no such thing online. I did a
quick calculation on the file sizes, and the home page of the site in
question is 65K, including images, but not including the three banner ads
that they insisted on (another 43K). Inside pages are typically about the
same or less than that (banners about 20K). The site is an informational
site, serving up static pages that are updated daily. It is not about
gambling or adult content.

Sort of a typical industry portal.
Maybe that helps a little.

TIA
Cheers
(with actual sig this time !)
