Hi,

I now have at long last a SOHO network environment that works.

NT Workstation 100MBit PCI ethernet
98 notebook 100MBit 32-bit cardbus ethernet
8-port 10/100MBit switch
cable!

Everything works fine, and all is well. With time I'll add in a Linux box,=
=20
and possibly a network printer. I don't expect there to be massive network=
=20
use, but I like to be prepared.

What I now want is a routing solution. At the moment I'm just using a 56K=20
dial-up modem on the PCs, as can't afford 24x7 network connection give the=
=20
high prices in the UK.

For the moment I can use a simple HTTP proxy to allow both computers to=20
surf, but a more powerful solution is required.

I recall WinGate a softwaere routing solution, but I now see that you can=20
get small modem/ISDN routers for only a few hundred pounds at the moment,=20
for example the NetGear RT328 ISDN router is only =A3200.

What have people found ideal in a small office environment? I have=20
frame-relay WAN at work, so this is just a home solution.

Thanks in advance.
