Hi,

As the subject says im running apache 1.3.27 on SuSE 8.2 and for the life in
me I can't get the CGI-BIN to work. Now I've not touched these settings as I
don't use CGI as a rule but theres a module I need to get running and it
uses CGI.

No matter what I do script wise I always get the same error from the server
500 internal server error. I've tailed the logs and i get Premature end of
script headers: /pathtoserver/cgi-bin/test.cgi.

The script works from command line. The permissions are correct. i've
disabled suexec as the default path from suexec -V is different to that of
where I move my server too..

The script alias exists so does the handler for cgi. But nothing I do will
get this to work. I'm completely stumped. I'm pretty sure its a config thing
but I've run out of things to check. I have a number of virtual hosts on my
machine granted, but the cgi-bin is common to all of them (i am assuming)
could that be causing a problem. Although I did add an extra script alias
inside one of my virtual hosts and it STILL gave me the same problem :(.

HELP!

:)
