OT: Linux

Hi

I'm looking at trying Linux for the first time, both as an alternative OS 
instead of Windows and to learn how to set up a webserver (although this one 
will not be connected to the internet).  In my local newsagent there are two 
versions at the moment, Linux Mandrake 7.1 and Suse 7.0.

Which would you recommend?  It needs to be capable of running on a 486 with 
16Mb RAM
