I'm looking for a way to measure site response times for a matrix of
competitors. I can measure their page size easily enough and learn
that with a 56 K modem, the page will take a certain time to load.
But what I can't determine is the site response. I used a couple of
fee-based services (e.g. Keynote) to measure my site and it is
lightning-quick. But using those services to measure 12 competitors
would be very costly.
All I want is a one-time measure of a single page http response,
overlooking page size and line speed. Anyone know of a service that
offers this?
