IE4 and 'operation timed out' and CGI

I have a CGI script which takes a few minutes to finish, and the web server
we're using doesn't output until the script has completed. NN4 is fine, but
with IE4 I get the error "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site
http://... The operation timed out" (if you check on the server the script's
still going.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this time out that IE4's introduced?!!
