Dreamweaver file overwrite

Is there a way to get Dreamweaver to detect that it is about to put old
files on top of new ones when you click the Put button? There is one
additional Dreamweaver in our office now who is learning to use the
software, and there was a recent accident with one of our site directories.
(We're deliberately not using check-in/check-out.)
