Hello Victor,

In the Preview option Dreamweaver 2 creates
a temp file in some dir. after you make
the changes & try to reload the same file
it might changed the temp file name....

I think this is your prob ?
What you can do is to open the file manually
from the location & after making changes
in Dreamweaver, reload it from IE.

Hello fellow HWG members,
I'm a new member of this list, and a budding web designer for fun and
hopefully profit. My tools of choice are Dreamweaver 2 and BBEdit 4 on the
Macintosh platform.

I'm having a problem with the Preview in Browser feature of Dreamweaver.
When I try to preview my Dreamweaver-developed pages in any version of
Internet Explorer (3 or 4), IE loads but then chokes on the page with the
error message "The attempt to load 'directory path/filename.html' failed".

I cannot account for any changes I might have made to cause this to happen.
If anyone has solved this one before, please let me know.
