I use xp-autopilot and it seems to help.

I will mention one oddity tho - on my AMD system it works great, on my P4
system it actually hindered.

Subject: XP System Utility

Hey, All! :)

Was glad to see some activity on this list! Now, I am hoping you can give
me your best advice on my next software purchase.

I have an XP Pro Work Station. Have had it about a year and no lock-ups
until recently. I figure the 10 hour days and my mega-multitasking has
finally caught up with me. I have been looking at utilities that supposedly
manage resources, files and registry entries that are so infamous for
plaguing Windows performance and have no idea which is best at doing what it
says.

So, I come to you. Are any of you using an XP system maintenance utility
and if so what do you recommend based on your personal use and experience?
I just want to be sure that what I purchase is actually going to do what it
says and effectively keep this workbox in its place. ;-)

Thank you in advance for your suggestions!
