Re: interactive web pagesby Robert White <r.white(at)ashowa.com> |

Stephen is, of course, correct - some people disable Java applets [and even images]. Usually to speed up surfing. However Ashowa's applet is so efficient that many of the interactive texts load almost instantly. When the image content is high download times are longer, as you'd expect e.g. http://www.ashowa.com/games/puzzle.html I guess using Java applets is a trade off - the applet won't be seen by some, usually those with older, slower, computers who have turned off Java. But it delivers interactive images, cool text and some great games to those who like to see fun stuff. >Still I'm sure those with Java enabled will like what your tool can do for them. Stephen, would you like to enable Java in your browser, see what you are missing and give us your opinion on if it was worth the download time? robert Ashowa is @ http://www.ashowa.com/ - _________________________________________________ Robert White Managing Director AshowA Pty.
