From the HWG mailing lists Charters and Instructions page ...
"This is NOT a place to start program bashing, which will not be tolerated"
I use GoLive 5 and like most of it, I've trialled Dreamweaver and
like most of that too. I have Photoshop, ImageReady, InDesign,
Acrobat and Illustrator so the integration and speed of workflow is a
strong point with me. GoLive 5 is *nothing* like Pagemaker (I have
that too). Both GL and DW have their faults, choose the ones you want
to live with. GoLive's layout grid is great for prototyping and
trying different layouts; then you get on with coding.
WYSIWYG editors aren't in control, we are. I can write bloated code
with either of the above two or I can write it with BBEdit or even
SimpleText if I want. Equally I can produce valid code with any of
them. My choice, not the software's.
Getting off soapbox.
Cheers.
