First, thanks for all the replies....
I've used <style type="text/css"> as well (should have said that straight
away). I get the same error message:
Unknown attribute TYPE in element STYLE. for browser(s): HTML3.2, WebTV2.2,
Lynx2.7, Explorer5.0 (1 instance)
Line 7: <STYLE TYPE="text/css">
