RE: Linking to stylesheet...

External style sheets do, in fact, work with Netscape (at least version
4.x). I'm using version 4.7 and this works (same as you have below,
except there are double quotes around the word stylesheet):

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../style/mystylesheet.css">
