Fixed Property

Dear List Members,

Does anybody know if any browsers support the {position: fixed} value?

I want to be able to keep an item at the same point on a page
regardless of scrolling. I know that it can be done with DHTML, and
that you can keep a background static, and I also know that it is
probably pointless, but still, can anyone help?
