How do I call-up a specific font for entire page?

Hello all,

Can anyone quickly just give me a string I need to place in the head to 
call-up a specific font?
I believe that if the person visiting that page does not have that 
particular font on his/her system, it would default to the next font in the 
string, or for that matter the typical default font.
I just can't remember how that string goes.
