Yes, I think I do too. Let's see if we're on the same track ...
General Headers
+-------------------------------------------+
'..............
main Content '..main.Nav....
'..............
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - '- - - - - - -
(empty) '..bottom.Nav..
+-------------------------------------------+
<div id="mainContent">
main content
</div>
<div id="navigation">
main navigation
<div id="bottomNav">
bottom navigation
</div><!-- end bottom nav -->
</div><!-- end main nav -->
????
However, if you want "bottom Nav" to always be directly across from the
last line of main content (assuming main content is longer than all the
navigation), I'm not sure if or how that's possible with relative
positioning.
