There is more to writing good HTML than writing valid HTML.
The two things I noticed were the <.div class="center">. and the use of spans.
Ideally, the class name should reflect the meaning of the content, rather
than the visual formatting. <.div class="main"> would probably have been
better than <.div class="center">. Better still would have been to use no
class in the div and apply the CSS to the unclassed div element.
Spans are a tricky thing. There is almost always some other structural
markup that could be used in their place. Not sure what I'd use in your
example though (because I haven't looked at it in much detail).
