I'd suggest you use


a.word:link {..your choice..}

a.word:active {..your choice..}

a.word:visited {..your choice..}

a.word:hover {..your choice..}

[instead of **a:hover.word** {..your choice..}]


For http://home.worldnet.fr/~brigarci/index.html

(a site I've built) it works fine for 4 different types of links, with
IE 4+, NN 4.7x, and NN 6.x.
